AKW A+V Protec GmbH handles the development, the production and the sales of water treatment plants for railed vehicles – the so-called bioreactor – and sets priorities in the whole world. This patented system for trains is the fastest waste water treatment plant of the world and travels with 250 km/hr.
The focus of our product range is the bioreactor and its installation and operation in railed vehicles. By using our experience in the area of the waste water treatment we were able to create a system that is specifically developed for the rail bound field of application. The system Protec is field-tested in serial production for more than 15 years.
For more than 20 years we have led the way of research and development in the field of the industrial waste water treatment. Our main tasks are highly loaded industrial waste waters that need additional provisions for the preliminary cleaning before being introduced into the public water supply network.
Furthermore, we work in the field of the energy production from biomass. The concept of AKW A+V Protec GmbH for farm gas plants allows the production of e.g. heating and electricity by using waste of the Norwegian agricultural sector.
